Omar majored in Pharmacology as an undergraduate at Stony Brook University. He worked with me as an undergraduate researcher from Sep 2016–April 2018. Omar is a co-author on four manuscripts with me. His research in the lab helped him secure URECA summer research fellowship and Sigma-Xi Undergraduate Research Award.

Omar is currently doing his residency in Cardiology at Weill Cornell Medical School in New York (Nov 2024).
