Nayarit majored in Biology as an undergraduate at Stony Brook University. She worked with Omar Zainul and me as an undergraduate researcher through the SBU-INSPIRE program in the Spring of 2018.

John is currently doing his PhD with Sam Gellman at University of Wisconsin–Madison (Nov 2024).
